Fall 2015 - New York Bridal Fashion Week Recap
April 23rd, 2015 Wedding IDEAS, INSPIRATION AND INSIDER TIPS
New York Bridal Fashion Week has just wrapped up and here is a recap of the 2015 bridal trends for our effortlessly chic brides.
This season's wedding dresses were inspired by 17th Century Dutch art. The awakening during that time and concentration towards ornate detailing was our mantra for our Fall 2015 collection. We created this collection to embody the awakening of that time and led to us wanting to empower our brides through our designs. Our experimentation with different proportions and silhouettes culminated in figure flattering designs. These silhouettes were combined with our meticulously placed beaded accents, architecturally pleated bodices, and combined with lace arrangements resulting in an unforgettable wedding day look.
This seasons collection is for the bride-to-be that wants to make a statement when they enter the room, as well as when they exit. Our beautifully detailed wedding gowns feature amazing draped pearl detailing, open back wedding gowns, and ornately beaded illusion backs. The focus on our European inspiration intertwines breathtakingly new details for beaded accents and combining them with classic romantic detailing that brides are yearning for. Our color story this season is romantic with earthy hues of gold, cashmere, and taupe as well as the addition of silver that offers a rich, vintage feel.
We have also translated a hot red carpet trend into our collection this season with the introduction of several crop top wedding gowns perfect for the bohemian bride! We have several two-piece wedding dresses that are perfect for a beach wedding or a reception dress. These styles are ready for any location and reflect a cool, carefree style on the bride that wears it.
It was a great week for bridal fashion, and we were so glad to meet with our authorized retailers and press! The Fall 2015 collection will be arriving in stores this summer.
