Real Brides: Taylor

Chase and I met in college - he played baseball and I played volleyball at our university, so we knew who each other were but didn't start hanging out until my junior year. Our two groups of friends started a weekly wine night. Everyone would bring a bottle of wine and we would play board games for hours. It was so much fun and we got to know each other really well. It's hard to explain, but we were instantly drawn to each other. I remember being so excited for Wednesday's because I knew he was going to come over. We got to spend some quality time together when I gave Chase a ride home for Christmas break - we had a 6 hour car ride and didn't get sick of each other, so that's saying something. It was easy conversation and we basically laughed the entire ride home. I knew he was something special and we started dating after break when we got back to school! We have been together ever since! I finally tried on my dress after a long day spent visiting two other boutiques and trying on about seven other dresses. When I put on my dress for the first time I was speechless. I immediately fell in love with the neckline and how it complimented my figure so well. I walked out into the waiting room and everyone's jaws dropped. When I looked into the three sided mirror I noticed the detail of the lace and it was beautiful. I loved the two layers of lace and the champagne color underneath. I think my favorite part of the dress was the train - I LOVED how dramatic and long the train was. I knew I wanted a low back dress, but the way the back of the dress flattered me was unreal - it was above and beyond what I had in mind. I did not want to take the dress off and I could not stop smiling. When they put the vail on, I lost it. I teared up and knew I had to wear this dress on our big day! I'm so glad I chose this dress. I felt so confident and beautiful on my wedding day! Photo: KyAnn Raye Photography
