How she met her husband: I met my husband in high school but we didn’t start dating until after reconnecting at our five year high school reunion. We spent most of the evening together catching up and talking. The next day he left for two weeks on a work trip to Norway but we talked a lot while he was gone and went on our first date as soon as he got back. We’ve been together ever since. How she knew her dress was "the one": I knew my dress was “the one” as soon as I saw it on the hanger. I had tried on so many and I could tell right away it had everything I wanted. I love the “off the shoulder” lace and ball gown style, the subtle sparkle, the cut of the front of the dress, even the back is gorgeous. I felt like a princess, it was the most stunning gown I tried on! I teared up in the shop and knew it was the one, I wouldn’t change a thing about it! Photography by Shelly Ruth.
