Real Brides: Katy

My husband and I met on a dating app back in 2018. On our second date, the waiter mistakenly referred to us as “Mr. and Mrs. Heyward” and we joking agreed at the time that we were meant to be together. Although we lived in different cities for a few years, we always managed to keep in touch! We finally made things official in 2021 during the end of the pandemic, bonding over our love for the TV show Bridgerton, which later became the theme for our wedding! 

My wedding dress was actually the first dress I tried on during my wedding dress appointment. My maid of honor (and college bestie) immediately said that she knew that the dress was meant for me. I continued to try on a couple more dresses just to be sure, but no other dress could compared to the magic I felt in the first dress. It truly made me feel like a Princess and perfectly fit our Bridgerton inspired wedding theme! My maid of honor was right (as always) and I said yes to the dress!
