Real Brides: Celeste

Cody and I met on Bumble in the middle of Covid of 2020. After talking on the app for a few days, we decided to meet in person at a local creole restaurants, Boo Rays. We started off dating by becoming friends which turned into true love. January 2022, Cody proposed to me at the Drover Hotel in the Stockyards. On June 24, 2023, we became Mr. & Mrs. Cody Strain. 

I had described my dress to Allison and Anna at Brides & Beyond. I wanted something fitted at the top, but flowy at the bottom. Long train with the 1920's old style buttons going up my back. Nothing too sparkly, but stand out with lace. Since we were having a Catholic wedding, something with sleeves, but could be taken off for the reception. To find my dress, I only wanted my mom and I to be there. When I put on the dress first, I fell in love with it. Allison and Anna had picked it out from what I described. My mom and I instantly started tearing up and I felt beautiful in it. That's how I new this was my wedding dress!
