Real Brides: Cassie

We briefly knew each other through friends and from being in the same home town. In Sydney as teenagers we would go to a little disco night (Bluelight) and Cass saw Josh doing his little dance in the centre of the crowd. We became friends on social media and spoke for a few months/years, but fell out of communication for a few years due to Josh moving to a different state. Fast forward 3-4 years and Cass moved to QLD and found Josh on Facebook to catch up and rekindle a friendship. Around Josh's 18th birthday we decided to meet up at Surfers Paradise and spent the weekend together. From there, the rest is history.
Wedding dress shopping can be overwhelming at the start to say the least. From searching so many different stores online to visiting a range of stores across Brisbane and trying on styles that more or less swallowed me up and were not what I was looking for, we came across Pat's store on the Gold Coast (Eternal Love Bridal). I searched the Moonlight range that Pat had and found a style I really wanted to try on (not the dress I ended up with). We went in and I had picked out a dress that was not what I ever pictured myself wearing due to confidence issues, but instantly as I put this dress on I did not question how my stomach looked or how I looked to others. I instantly felt like a bride and elegant. Pat brought out the dress I went to the store to try on and I didn't have the same wow factor as the dress I ended up buying. I knew the first dress I tried on was the one as it took away all the doubt I had towards myself in a fitted dress, it was so comfortable the second I popped it on and ticked all the right boxes of the details I was searching, not to mention it tied in perfectly with our venue.
