Real Brides: Guinevere

Bronson and I met in high school. I was working at a local pizza place and he worked with cars down the street. He came in everyday (sometimes twice a day) too afraid to speak to me about anything other than pizza. I was dating someone else at the time. I left for the military, then traveled the world, and fought wild land fires for a few years to follow before coming home. We remained really close friends and I knew he was the one. We just had to grow and heal as individuals before it could ever work out together.

I knew I wanted to get married in black but I still wanted a dress that looked liked it belonged in a wedding and not a prom. I searched for months and came across the dress online. I went to your site to find vendors and then reached out to the vendors near me. Thankfully I was in contact with Mirror Mirror Bridal who were two hours away. They were so wonderful!! Until I met them, I had received poor treatment, dismissal, and high disregard for wanting to marry in black in addition to eloping to a mountain top in Alaska. I was told a few times it was a waste of a beautiful dress but I loudly disagree.
