Real Brides: Kristen

We are from the same home town and went to the same High School (different year groups), but didn't officially meet until 2021. A mutual friend invited Luke to my 21st birthday party and the rest of it is history. We were together just over 9 years when Luke popped the question. We had just built our dream first home, and on the morning that we got the keys he dropped to one knee in our new kitchen and asked me to be his wife! What a day!

I saw the dress online early on in our engagement and fell in love. I knew I had to try it on when it the time came to go dress shopping. Much to my delight, a gorgeous home boutique opened up a few months before I had planned to go dress shopping, so of course I booked an appointment right away!

This was the first dress I tried on! Of course I tried a few other styles (maybe 3 or 4) just to make sure, but I just knew that was my dream dress and ordered it that day. Who says wedding dress shopping is hard? I made a few small modifications to the style (shorter train and removed the larger sequins from the bust), which Moonlight was more than happy to accommodate. This was my dream dress, I think I knew that form the moment I saw it online.
