Real Brides: Jennifer

I met my husband, Dorian, 5 years ago at my old job. We became friends first and then after 6 months I realized I liked him more than a friend which was weird as we are complete opposites! I finally listened to my heart and got the courage to tell Dorian how I felt... Dorian felt the same way about me! Fast forward to 5 years later and here we are now as husband and wife! 

When it was time to shop for my dress I went to a bridal shop and didn't find the style I liked. I was on Instagram scrolling through bridal dress hashtags when I found Moonlight Bridal style H1466 and fell in love with the long train and the lace back! It took me a few hours to find a store near me that carried it so I booked an appointment right away! I am 6ft 1 so finding a gown designer that could add additional length was a possible concern. When I got to my appointment I tried on the sample size which was too small and too short. The consultant confirmed that the designer would be able to add extra length which was the most amazing news! Despite not being able to zip the sample dress up and it being too short in length, I loved it so much that I said yes to the dress! When my dress came to the store in my size and 3 additional inches added to it, as soon as I zipped it up I knew it was my dress! It fit perfectly! I cried all those happy tears and fell in love with it all over again! I also loved that the sleeves could be down off the shoulder, or up on the shoulders or even tucked away! The glitter hidden in the dress along with the beautiful lace, fit and flare look worked perfectly for our romantic rose garden wedding!
