Real Brides: Kaleigh

My husband and I had the privilege of being college sweethearts. We lived on the same floor in the same dorm building during our sophomore year of college at Millersville University. We had a mutual group of friends, but hadn't gotten to know each other until the school year was almost over. From the time we met, we were completely inseparable. We spent the final months of that school year spending time together and getting to know each other, not knowing what would happen when the year ended. Fortunately, we had officially become boyfriend and girlfriend during that last week before summer vacation. Although we were long distance after that until the next school year, we fell for each other and made it work. We have been together for 7 years and are now happily married! I knew my dress was the one right away. It actually was one of the dresses on the mannequin in the window that caught my attention as soon as I saw it. During my appointment, I tried on about 15 dresses with no real idea of what I had in mind, but I knew I wanted to feel like a princess. The last dress I tried on was the dress I wore on my wedding day and as soon as the consultant opened the curtain, everyone was blown away and immediately got choked up. At that point, I knew I had found the one! Each time after when I had to try it on, I couldn't believe I found a dress so beautiful and on my wedding day I felt incredible. My husband was absolutely in love!
