Real Brides: Lauren

Our love story begins almost 10+ years ago in High School. No, this is not your typically “High School Sweetheart” love story. Mike and I dated for almost 4 years until we broke up and parted ways during our college years. It took quite some time, other relationships, and fate to eventually bring us back together. As cliché as it sounds, we both had to grow apart in order to fall back together. We started dating again in 2015 and have been inseparable ever since...well, except for the nights he plays beer league hockey, but I am sure you can catch my drift. Finding my dream dress seemed like a daunting task. Did I want lace or satin? Form fitting or a ball gown? Is any dress going to look like my Pinterest vision board? I really wasn’t sure which direction to go in. I went to all the major bridal boutiques in my surrounding area and truthfully thought I found “the one”. I tried this particular dress on 2 or 3 times on different occasions, but never really pulled the trigger and jumped for joy screaming “yes to the dress”. My mom and I decided to try a few more different boutiques and that’s when I literally stumbled across “The One”. The moment I walked out of the dressing room and saw the back of the dress, I just knew (I may have also had a tear or two). I felt as if Moonlight Bridal made this dress specifically for me. I felt beautiful, confident, and could envision myself walking down the aisle on my wedding day. Fast-forwarded to the day of our wedding, I couldn’t have been any happier with my dress choice, I felt beautiful as ever, and beamed in happiness the whole day!
