Real Brides: Joy

We met at as total strangers in a coffee shop in Houston, Texas. Neither of us were actually planning to go to this particular shop, but we ended up sitting next to each other and he struck up conversation and then asked me for my number when I was leaving. He called me that same night and the we went on our first date two days later and been together ever since! He proposed in that same coffee shop one year later and had my family fly in a surprise me to be there! I had tried on a couple styles, but quickly settled on a fit and flare style! I went dress shopping with my mom at Brides by Elizabeth in San Antonio and this was the 3rd dress I tried on and as soon as I had it on I knew it was the one! The lace was gorgeous, the style was perfect, and I was obsessed with the train! Brides by Elizabeth also helped us sew in a heart from a piece of my mom’s wedding dress with a blue ribbon as my something old and something blue
