Real Brides: Bianca

Eric and I met as teenagers in high school. With both of us focused on getting into college, we never bothered to develop anything more than a friendship (much to Eric’s dismay haha). When we both found out we were admitted to UCLA, it felt as if the stars had aligned, and we decided to commit to each other. Eric and I were each other’s home away from home at UCLA, navigating through college and life together. After college, Eric and I both accepted jobs with the same company, in the same building, twelve floors apart. It felt like once again, the stars had aligned for Eric & I, and we started to speak more seriously about our future together. So after 6.5 years of dating, Eric proposed to me in front of my family on Easter Sunday 2017 and we married on June 16, 2018. When I looked for my wedding dress, all I knew is that I wanted something white, sparkly and easy to move around to greet guests and dance all night. I knew when I tried on my little Moonlight number and twirled in the light tulle that I had found the one. I pictured myself easily walking down the church aisle with ease, and I could not stop gawking at the beautiful crystal beadwork on the gown’s bodice. I felt like a princess and wanted to take the gown home that second! Photography: Luis Godinez Photography
