Real Brides: Chelsea

My husband (Ben) and I met in 2008, junior year of high school, in one of our classes. We sat next to each other and immediately fell in love, but we both thought the other was a senior since we had never met before. Eventually we plucked up the courage to begin talking to each other and found out we were both juniors and the rest is history! :) high school sweethearts! We moved to college together and on my last day of classes at college (June 11, 2014), Ben took me to an Observatory up in the hills and proposed to me while we overlooked the entire valley. It was perfect. Unplanned, but the day he proposed was also my parents wedding anniversary. A year later we began planning our wedding and I was determined on finding the perfect dress. The day I walked into my hometowns local bridal shop, I saw my wedding dress right away and immediately fell in love. My friends and family I was with tried talking me into their favorite dress, but I knew this was the one before I even tried it on. After trying on the other dresses I tried my dress on and it was 6 sizes too big!! They clipped it as tight as they could but I still knew it was the one. Everything about the soft tulle, the beading on the bodice, the button detailing down the back, and the beautiful ivory/champagne color matched everything I envisioned for my wedding and even better it matched my personality. Our wedding planning process was easy and smooth. I loved everything about planning our special day. We got married on July 2nd, 2016 and my dress made me feel like a princess!
